Call girl !!!

Everything I hear, see, want to put it up on the blog, just sit in front of the computer and the fingers  automatically  move towards the games icon, control hi nahi hota –Aarrgghh!!!

My  two  yr-four  month  old niece Jaanu is a real brat and an absolute sweet-heart! She stayed with us for  more than a month this May-June along with Naanu, her brother. My bro-in-law dropped  them off and went back . It was funny because we just did not know how to handle her , the first time she was away from her parents[scared  she would be scarred psychologically and blah, luckily she still remembers and talks to us regularly !! ] , naanu had stayed with us before, he was not a problem! The best way to keep her happy and  make our selves tolerable to her was by feeding her junk food, which she adores. Madam would wake up in the morning and walk straight to the kitchen and point  to the box containing Besan ladoo. It  used to be a tantrum throwing-battle of wits, physical power and bribery to get her teeth brushed before the besan ladoo binge !!! Once the ladoos were over, it was cakes, biscuits, water melons and mangoes, anything other than Khaana .

She calls us up regularly, insists on talking to me [Haha,terribly flattered!!]. N ,my hubby says the only admirer of mine,who calls me up everyday [ pssst—don’t ask about the others!! ]. I sing songs ,nursery rhymes to her on the phone to make her sleep,  eat,  keep her entertained when  she bugs my sis too much. Generally, we jabber about her school, cakes, ice-creams  chips  etc..!!

During one of her regular phone calls, suddenly andy , my  12 yr old daughter says , Amma  Jaanu is a  call-girl !!

I was like..Whaaaaaaaaaattttt?? What did u say??

She repeats it and  I asked,  Do you the meaning of the word?? 

No is the reply. I explained what it meant and she  gives a horrified sigh and says you know I did not mean it that way.

Promptly, called up my sis to tell her and we had a good laugh, when  Andy interrupts me to ask..

Amma,  Don’t you think Jaanu is too young at 2 to be a call girl…….
